Shun's birthday Saturday - Part 2: the rest of the day

We found a great Japanese cafe for lunch. Lovely friendly Japanese staff. The cafe's name was . . . . . . and they served a very good katsu curry. Mmmm! (First "Mmmm!" of today's blog - exciting)
After our very fine Japanese lunch, we went back to the museum and saw more small and big things, then we went to Arsenal (north London) - home of Arsenal Football Club and full of drunk Arsenal FC fans. Our Italian friend has just opened a bar in Arsenal so we met some friends there and drank delicious prosecco (Italian sparkling wine) all evening, and ate bread and cheese and olives ("Mmmm!") and Shun gradually became very drunk and I laughed.

Shun's birthday Saturday - Part 1: the morning

Saturday was Shun's Big Birthday Day. It was great weather and in the morning we took a train to London and went to Borough Market at London Bridge. It's a famous market. Jamie Oliver (famous English TV chef) goes there a lot! Everything looked delicious, and we had breakfast in a nearby cafe.
After that, we got on a lovely big red bus . . .

. . . and went to the V&A museum again - Shun's favourite museum in London. There, we saw some very small things . . .(ねつけだよ！）. . . and some very big things . . .

うるさい！

今日はいい天気だ！くまんばちはうるさくなった。今朝はイタリアンマーケットにいった。お兄さんたちの英語はみんなとても強いイタリアのはつおん。（俳優かな？）We bought spicy salami and a big deep-fried risotto ball (!) and some anti-pasti. It looks really good. 今晩のご飯たのしみ！カメラをもっていくの忘れちゃった。Sorry!

誕生日祭り

今週はしゅんちゃんの誕生日祭り。Yeah!　誕生日は火曜日だけどこの一週間はずっと祭りのふんいき。火曜日はプレゼントと美しいカップケーキの山をあげて、夜に映画館に行ってから中華料理を食べに行った。映画はイギリスの映画。なまえは　Cemetery Junction. とてもおもしろかった。料理は　crispy duck pancakes (mmmmmmmm!) and spicy prawns and the restaurant's special noodles (mmmmmmmm!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHUN-CHAN!

This morning my sister and baby Edie came to give Shun his birthday present. イーディーちゃんがラッピングペーパーを食べてみたけど大丈夫だった。イーディーちゃんはちょっとヤギみたい。何でも食べたい。
明日はSevenoaksにイタリアンマーケットある。おもしろいかどうか分からない。何時にはじまるか分からない。でも見てみる。誕生日祭りぽいイベントだから。

はいきんぐ！

さいしょは日曜日はのんびりの日にしようと思ってた。。。でもまたいい天気だからとつぜん「１２キロのハイキングしよう！」とせんげんした。（「せんげん」はぜんぜん分からない日本語。しゅんちゃんがいなければだめだ。）地図をもってぼうけんがはじまった。とりあいずすてきな喫茶でおいしい朝ご飯。Mm!
次は、冒険。地図を読んで。。。

えだを拾って。。。田舎の景色を見て。。。oast-houseを通って　（an oast-house is an old-style brewery for making beer)。。。

目的地についた。目的地は美しいIghtham Mote. Ightham Mote はとってもとっても古いおやしき。。。

買い物

土曜日にママといっしょにロンドンで買い物をしに行った。日本から持って来たふくは少ないでも来月に結婚式に行くからふくを買わないと行けない！ママも春のためのTシャツがほしかったからuniqloに入って楽しかった。天気がすごくよかったからこんでた。We had a lovely time :) (PS. uniqloのUTノロゴはどういういみ？）

A bit of Edie

昨日の夕方に、ママとパパの家に行った。ママがイーディーちゃんのベビーシッティングをしてたから顔を出してみた。イーディーちゃんは赤ちゃんだからブログで見せられないけど足の写真があるからどうぞ。

Low battery

今週はエネルギーダウンだった。ぜんぜんげんきだけど集中できなかった。今日春のいい天気が帰ってきたからあかるくなった。ばんさい！

ふつかよいとガーデニング

次のひはふつかよいのままガーデニングセンターに行った。ごごに、にんじんとにんにくと玉ねぎをうえた。

土曜日の夜にパパのテニスクラブのクイズ大会だった。（けっこ貧乏なテニスクラブだからこうゆうイベントでお金を作ります。）大人気だった！　大きなハリウッド映画の公開日みたいにならんでた！
チームは２０チーム。みんな自分のお酒とコップを持っていった（やばい）。うちのチームメンバーは全部で９人：（ドラムロール）

映画館の喫茶

いい天気で土曜日だから朝ご飯はSevenoaksの映画館の喫茶店だた。Sevenoaksの映画館はとてもかわいい。小さいけどがんばってる映画館！　そこのなかでしぶい喫茶がある。すてきな電気！

庭

今日はいい天気だから午後に庭でお茶を飲んでた。気持ちよかった。

卵とパーティー

Easter Sunday にしゅんちゃんと家族にもチョコ卵をプレゼントした。私もチョコ卵をもらっちゃった。どこ見てもチョコだらけ！昼ご飯はおばあちゃんのうちで。おばあちゃんはけっこう変な人だから、ずうっといちにちそこにいれば、みんなのあたまがexplode! BANG! . . .

. . . so,　夕方は、ままとパパのうちでのんびりして遊びました。妹と赤ちゃんがいたからすごく楽しかった。赤ちゃんのなまえがEdieで七ヶ月でデブでかわいいいいい！
ままがとてもおいしいご飯をつくった：fish pie and moussaka (our family favourites!)
デザートはままが作ったcup-cakes! Double MMMM!

Happy Easter

This weekend is Easter weekend - Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Good Friday and Easter Monday are both holidays so it's a loooooooong weekend. Nice. On Good Friday, we eat Hot Cross Buns. All the supermarkets sell them, but I made my own!
They're like sweet bread buns, with lots of spice and dried fruit in the mixture, and we eat them warm with butter - MMMM! (means "Yummy")
Sunday is Easter Day which is when people exchange Easter eggs. Easter eggs are chocolate eggs. All the big big chocolate/candy companies make them - very big business. All the big supermarkets sell them. But, in Sevenoaks there is a little independent chocolate shop which sells hand-made Easter eggs. It's lovely! So I bought all my Easter eggs for my family at The Chocolate Shop this year.

This afternoon (Saturday), went to see "Clash of the Titans" at the little Sevenoaks cinema. It was very bad but great! And the cinema is fantastic :)
